Interacting with wildlife is how you know you aren’t in the city anymore.

Roasting marshmallows and signing songs is the best part of those long summer evenings.

Freedom is being out on the water.

The smell of the barbecue firing up makes the mouth water.

When inspiration hits, head into the studios to make something beautiful.

Wild or manicured, there is nothing more soothing to the soul than happy plants.

The natural environment instills peace of mind, and is a safe place for bees, butterflies, mink, and otter to call home.

The Cedars has the following amenities and activities:

Open spaces for gathering (both inside and out) and small spaces for hiding away
Outdoor Cooking (BBQs, Corn Boiler, Fire Pit)
Bird watching (osprey, loons, herons, woodpeckers)
Wildlife spotting (otters, turtles, beavers, frogs)
Swimming /sunbathing /diving and other forms of horseplay from the swim raft
Wading along the shoreline or climbing into the water from the swim dock, noodling

We have a variety of sizes of life jackets and water shoes and some baby equipment
